We play on 16 dedicated pickleball courts located at Santa Barbara Municipal Tennis and Pickleball Courts @ 1414 Park PL, Santa Barbara, CA 93103.
Non-permit holders pay a $6 per day fee to the Parks & Recreation Dept's monitor on duty. An annual pass may be purchased from the Parks & Recreation and good till July of 2025. Here is the link to purchase the pass:
Please have your annual permit or $6 daily use fee handy when driving into the parking lot. Payment by credit card only - NO CASH payment.
SANTA BARBARA PICKLEBALL (Non-Profit) MISSION STATEMENT
To develop public interest and participation in the sport of Pickleball in Santa Barbara.
To encourage and support Pickleball players of all ages, gender, ability and skill levels.
To provide Pickleball events and activities which support fundraising for local schools & charity organizations.
To assist and support the City of Santa Barbara with the improvement to and expansion of Pickleball facilities.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS TO DATE
- Since 2014, our non-profit has partnered with Santa Barbara’s Parks & Recreation Department to expand and enhance public pickleball facilities. Together, we transformed four underutilized municipal tennis courts into sixteen vibrant pickleball courts. We have also provided ongoing support by funding and installing flags, banners, and covering maintenance needs—such as gate repairs—that fall outside the City’s budget. Our Santa Barbara Pickleball Ambassadors actively promote youth and senior engagement programs through the YMCA, the Boys & Girls Club, and local schools. In past years, we have donated paddles, balls, and other equipment to individuals and groups in need. Our 2023 Santa Barbara Riviera Pickleball Tournament raised significant funds that were donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Shriners Hospital, and the Make-A-Wish America Foundation.
