Starting September 1st, The Picklr Santa Barbara is making it easier than ever to play on your schedule.

The new $100 Punch Pass gives you 5 punches valued at $20 each—a 20% savings off regular non-member rates. Punches can be used for Open Play, Clinics, Live Ball, and 2-hour court reservations, with reservations available

up to 3 days in advance. 

Whether you play every day, or just want to drop in when it works for you, we've simplified our pricing so you can choose the option that fits your game.

MUNI OPERATING HOURS

Gates open daily at 8:00am and close at Sunset.

Open Play on all courts, every day (including holidays).

Rental courts available from 12 noon - 5:00 pm

on courts 11 & 12. Rental information click here

There is a $7 Daily Use Fee for visiting players

who do not hold an annual pass.

Note: Credit Card payment is now required

at the gate in lieu of cash.

OPPORTUNITY FOR BEGINNER PLAYERS

Are you new to Pickleball, or would simply like to play at a lower skill level? Now there's a place where like-minded players can get together and have fun!

NO FOOD OR DRINKS ON COURTS

Due to liquids being spilled, and food left on the courts, the Parks and Rec Dept. is not allowing any food or drinks,

other than water, on the courts.

Please eat and drink outside the courts.

A reminder from the

Parks & Recreation Department

Players are not permitted to hop, climb, step on, lean on, or sit on the fencing between courts. Please use the designated gates when moving from one court to another. If you notice this occurring, please remind players of this rule. Your cooperation helps protect the facilities and keep the courts in good condition for everyone.

Additionally, please do not sit on the ball/cup holders between the benches, as they are beginning to crack. Please hang bags and clothing on the fence and keep the benches available for players who are waiting.

LOST AND FOUND POLICY

Valuable items can now be given to the Parks & Recreation Department's gate monitor for safe keeping (only paddles, phones, valuable jewelry). The items will be held in the office until the end of each month. After that, the items will be returned to the blue bin outside court #1. Please note that the Parks & Recreation Department cannot be held responsible for un-recovered, lost or stolen items.

Note: The blue Lost and Found box will also be emptied at the end of each month.

VERY IMPORTANT!

Please I.D. the handle of your paddle by tagging your name and phone # along the paddle rim or on the handle.

This may be the only way to retrieve a lost paddle!

OPEN PLAY GUIDELINES AT MUNI COURTS

COURT ETIQUETTE SIGNS

ARE POSTED ON ALL COURTS

Please note that all courts (including the blended line courts) are Open Play all day. Reminder that no player may be turned away/excluded from rotating in during Open Play!

Please observe the level of play prior to sitting on a bench. It is recommended that you join a group that is playing at a skill level similar to your own.

When waiting to rotate into a game, select a court and sit on the bench.

Activity along sides of the court is a distraction to players. Please walk quickly from court to court, and only when players are in-between points.

Please remember to call 'Ball On!' and stop play when wayward balls enter the court.

Please do not leave your trash behind on the courts.

(broken balls, banana peels, gum, drink cups, wrappers, etc.)

There is a blue recycling container specifically for

broken balls outside court #7 for ball disposal.

Players wishing to play in dedicated foursomes are welcome to rent a court (afternoons only) or play elsewhere.

any skill level.

A non-profit Board of Directors was established in 2019 to represent the Pickleball community's interests at Muni. Although this board is not affiliated with the Parks & Recreation Department, there has been an ongoing partnership with P&R to update the facility, organize tournaments, and improve overall services for Muni Pickleball players. Please note that any Pickleball Permit Holder may attend board meetings. If you wish to attend, email Sue Irwin
